Welcome to Root & Light Co.™ By accessing our website and purchasing from our shop, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Root & Light Co. fulfills orders from two locations:
Apparel
All apparel is produced and drop-shipped by Printful. Production and shipping typically take 5–15 days, depending on Printful’s volume, holidays, and carrier conditions.
Bouquets
All dried-floral mini bouquets are hand-designed, crafted, and shipped from our home studio in the Mohawk Valley, NY. Bouquets ship within 1–3 business days.
Mixed Orders
If your order contains both apparel and bouquets, items will ship separately and may arrive at different times. Shipping fees may be calculated individually per item based on weight, size, and fulfillment location.
U.S. Shipping Only
At this time, Root & Light Co. ships exclusively within the United States.
Processing times may increase during holidays, sales, or supplier delays.
Bouquets are created using natural, preserved, dried, and occasionally dyed florals. Because each bouquet is handcrafted and materials vary seasonally:

Allergy Notice
Products may contain natural plant materials that can cause sensitivities or allergies. By purchasing, the customer acknowledges this risk.
Bouquets
Due to their handmade and delicate nature, all bouquet sales are final.
Apparel
Apparel is fulfilled through Printful. Returns or exchanges are only accepted for manufacturing defects or fulfillment errors. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a clear photo so we can assist.
Damaged Items
If an item arrives damaged, please notify us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the product and packaging. We cannot replace or refund items reported after this window.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Orders cannot be changed or canceled once they have entered production or shipped.
Once an order is shipped, Root & Light Co. is not responsible for:
If a package is marked delivered but cannot be located, customers must contact the mail carrier for resolution.
Root & Light Co. donates $10 per sale to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA) to support the LBDA Research Centers of Excellence. Donations are submitted monthly based on verified sales totals.
Root & Light Co. is not yet a nonprofit organization.
Sales tax is applied at checkout when required by state and local laws. Customers are responsible for any applicable taxes or fees.
Root & Light Co. accepts major credit/debit cards and other payment options provided by GoDaddy’s secure checkout system.
All transactions are encrypted. Root & Light Co. does not store customer payment information.
We collect customer information necessary to process orders—such as name, address, email, and order details.
By using this site, you consent to these practices.
Bulk or custom bouquet orders may require extended processing times and are non-refundable. Please inquire for details before placing a large order.

At Root & Light Co., every order is prepared with care, intention, and heart. We want you to love your purchase and feel the light that inspired it.
Returns & exchanges
Because many items are made-to-order, handmade, or perishable (such as dried bouquets), we generally do not accept returns or exchanges. However, your satisfaction matters deeply to us — if something isn’t right, please reach out within 7 days of delivery so we can make it right together.
Damaged or incorrect orders
If your order arrives damaged or isn’t what you expected, please contact us at Erin@rootandlightco.com within 7 days with photos of the item and packaging. We’ll gladly replace or refund the item as appropriate.
Apparel & non-perishable items
For non-custom apparel or merchandise (shirts, mugs, or décor), we accept returns within 14 days of delivery if the item is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.
• Customer is responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the item is received and inspected.
Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase. After that time, items may already be in production or packaging and may not be eligible for cancellation.
Gift cards & donations
Gift cards and charitable donation portions (such as the percentage donated to dementia research) are non-refundable, as they are immediately designated toward our mission impact.
